our story
"About Me" pages can sometimes end up being cold & impersonal. That's simply not our style, so we're just going to speak from the heart!
We've been happily married since 2010 and had our son Zaiden in 2013. We realized shortly after Zaiden's first birthday that he wasn't meeting all his milestones...we eventually received a diagnosis of ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder.
It would be increasingly apparent that a "normal", 9-5 job working for someone else wasn't the most ideal situation or either one of us. Zaiden's care, education, therapies, those were the most important and we wanted to be able to help him learn, grow & thrive as much as possible in these most pertinent years.
We decided to combine our skill sets, knowledge & experience, took out a loan & launched Empire.
It has given us the opportunity to be more flexible to work around Zaiden's needs (he's now 5) while building a better future for ourselves & our son.

We thank you for being a part of our journey!
